This dataset includes CTD data from two cruises aboard the B/O Justo Sierra in 2015.
The goal of this cruise was to characterize the distribution and fate of oiled sediment at sites on the continental shelf and slope of the Southern Gulf of Mexico with reference to the Ixtoc blowout (1979-1980).

This dataset contains CTD data and core and water sample collection metadata. CTD data are organized by format
in three sub directories -- (…\SGOM 2015 CTD_DATA\ASCII, RAW, and screendump). CTD files are named based on
the station were the data were collected.
The following are the data parameters found in the ASCII files:
Column 1 - Scan Count (integer);
Column 2 - Temperature (ITS-90, deg C);
Column 3 - Conductivity (S/m);
Column 4 - Pressure, Digiquartz (db);
Column 5 - Depth (salt water, m);
Column 6 - Oxygen, SBE 43 (umol/l);
Column 7 - Salinity, Practical (PSU);
Column 8 - Flouresence, WET Labs ECO-FL/FL (mg/m^3);
Column 9 - Density (sigma-theta, Kg/m^3);
Column 10 - Bottles Fired (integer);
Se generó la capa a partir de la lista de Sitios del Crucero y se definió la proyección en el sistema estándar. Los atributos listados arriba están almacenados en tablas cada una con observaciones correspondientes a cada uno de los sitios en la capa.
